Accessibility Statement

Last updated: 2 September 2026

Accessibility is an important part of providing an inclusive website and an omnichannel communication platform that works for everyone.

We are committed to making our website and digital services accessible and usable for people with different abilities, and we continuously work to improve the accessibility, usability and overall experience of our digital products.

Our Commitment to Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to use our website and the Mondo platform, regardless of their abilities or the technology they use.

Accessibility is therefore considered throughout our design and development process. Our goal is to make our website and application usable by people with different visual, hearing, motor and cognitive abilities, as well as people with other accessibility needs.

Accessibility Standards

We aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), and work toward Level AA conformance where reasonably achievable.

The WCAG guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities. Following them also improves usability for all users, for example on mobile devices, in bright environments or with slow internet connections.

We have not yet completed a formal third-party accessibility certification of our website and platform. This statement describes our current goals and measures, and we will update it as our accessibility work progresses.

Accessibility Features

Our website currently includes the following measures to support accessibility:

  • Semantic HTML and page landmarks (header, navigation, main content and footer) to support orientation and assistive technologies
  • A logical heading hierarchy on content pages
  • Visible keyboard focus states for links, buttons and form fields
  • Keyboard-operable navigation and menus
  • Text alternatives (alt text) for meaningful images
  • Labels and programmatic associations for form fields
  • ARIA attributes where native HTML semantics are not sufficient
  • Support for the prefers-reduced-motion system setting, which disables non-essential entrance animations
  • Light and dark themes with sufficient text contrast
  • Responsive layouts that adapt to different screen sizes and zoom levels

Accessibility support may vary between individual pages and features. We address gaps as we identify them.

Accessibility Features in the Chat Widget

The Mondo chat widget, which websites embed to offer live chat and messaging, includes its own accessibility features. When these features are enabled for the widget on a given website, an accessibility button appears next to the chat launcher and in the header of the chat window. It opens an "Accessibility Settings" panel with the following options:

  • Text size, adjustable between 80% and 200% in steps of 10%
  • Letter spacing, adjustable between 0 and 5 pixels
  • Saturation mode with the options Normal, Grayscale and High contrast
  • Remove images, which hides content images while keeping the widget's own icons
  • Reduce animations, which minimises animations and transitions and dims animated images
  • Dark mode, which applies a dark colour scheme
  • Cursor size, available as Normal or Big, with the cursor changing to an enlarged pointer over links and buttons

The settings are applied to the content of the website and, at the same time, to the chat window. Changes take effect immediately, and a "Reset to Default" button restores the original values at any time. The settings are stored in the visitor's browser on their device, so they are kept for subsequent visits to the same website and can be reset whenever needed.

The settings panel is a dialog that can be operated with the keyboard: it is closed with the Escape key or the close button, and keyboard focus remains within the panel while it is open. The control labels follow the language configured for the widget. Because the widget runs on third-party websites, its appearance can vary with the styling of the respective website.

Accessibility Across Our Platform

The Mondo platform brings together communication channels such as web chat, email and messaging services in a shared workspace for agents. As we continue to develop the platform, we consider accessibility in areas such as dashboards, conversations, navigation, forms and notifications, both on desktop and on mobile devices.

For details of the accessibility settings that the web chat widget provides to visitors on websites where it is embedded, see the "Accessibility Features in the Chat Widget" section above.

Some functionality of the overall service may depend on third-party communication channels, integrations or external services, for example messaging platforms. The accessibility of those third-party services is outside our direct control and is determined by the respective providers.

Known Limitations

We continuously review our website and application for accessibility barriers. Despite our efforts, some parts of our website or platform may not yet fully meet the level of accessibility we are aiming for.

If you encounter an area that does not meet your accessibility needs, please let us know so that we can investigate and improve it.

Continuous Improvement

Accessibility is an ongoing process rather than a one-time project. As we develop and maintain our website and platform, we work to:

  • consider accessibility during design and development
  • improve keyboard navigation and visible focus states
  • improve semantic markup and assistive-technology compatibility
  • improve contrast and visual clarity, including in dark mode
  • address accessibility barriers reported to us
  • take accessibility into account in future product improvements

We update this statement as our accessibility work progresses.

Accessibility Feedback

We welcome feedback about the accessibility of our website and application. If you encounter a barrier or have difficulty using any part of our service, please contact us.

We take accessibility feedback seriously and use it to prioritise improvements.
